Georgia has been named as the most desirable country for Georgian population. Though, it seems that in spite of the fact that every second Georgian tries to leave for foreign countries, more than 2/3 percent of the population still thinks that the best place to live is his/her homeland. In this case, the phenomenon of “irreplaceable motherland” works and the Georgians who are excessively in love with their motherland can not yield their homeland in no case.
The service conducted by the marketing research and consultation company “AST”, has clearly proved that citizens of this country are very proud of living in their country. 68% of the population named Georgia first when they answered the question about in which country they would like to live.
The most desirable thing for most people is just their native country. The next countries are Italy and France, which precede the USA where only 3% of interviewed people have wish to live in. Number of people willing to live in Russia did not make up even 1 percent.
It must be emphasized that as it was in Russia, among 1000 respondents 73% of questioned Russian population would leave their country immediately if they had a chance for that. Thus, the attitude towards their country and patriotic feelings of Russian and Georgian people has become obvious for everyone.
By the way, not only the Georgians think Georgia as a desirable country to live. If we attach no importance to foreigners’ assessment preserved in the historical documents, nowadays many foreigners settled in our country and in spite of grave political-economical-social-material problems of the country, they are getting on well and don’t intend to leave the country.
Neither far living foreigners take their eyes off us. They often study out situation. So, the authoritative Swiss bank “Credit Swiss” talked about Georgia rather significantly in its analysis. In Swiss peoples’ opinion, Georgian population is a leader among post soviet countries on welfare level.
According to the studies of “Credit Swiss”, it is clear that average price of property of a Georgian citizen accounts for 13 thousand dollars. A Russian citizen - 10 thousand dollars. A Belarusian one – 6 thousand dollars. The lowest number was found in Moldova. Their average price of property is 2500 dollars.
Let each Georgian person judge personally to what extent the researches of Swiss bank meet the reality.
